This weekend we talked a bit about the obstacles we might face to our practice. For you super yogis out there, these are the antarayas. For the rest of us, they’re what clashes with our ability to stick to our routine.

I really enjoyed the conversation, both for my own practice and in the context of teaching. It’s useful to have an organized way to consider what may be getting in our way so we can manage it and, who knows? Maybe even overcome it.

  3. Self doubt
  4. Carelessness
  5. Fatigue
  6. Sensual preocupation
  7. Erroneous views
  8. Being ungrounded
  9. Regression
