Ow. I feel ninety, and not an inspirational super yogi sort of ninety. Let’s just say I see a lot of ab work in my future.
OK, so I decided I wanted a standup desk. After scouring the internet, I found nothing I liked and fortunately complained about it in front of my brother… who then designed one just for me (because he’s awesome). And now I have a desk I love. What I don’t have is the physical fitness to stand all day.
I’ve been taking sitting breaks, stretching breaks, roll around on the floor breaks—and yes, yoga breaks: cat, cow, camel, dolphin, the whole lower back zoo. I feel like a real wuss. Sure, I can walk forever, but stand still? Apparently that’s just too much of a challenge.
